A Brief Synopsis: In 1890 England a doctor, in order to cure his wife’s “sick mind”, injects her with snake venom. She later gives birth to a daughter the villagers begin to call “The Devil’s Baby”. They soon burn the family’s house down. Years later a Scotland Yard detective is sent to the village to investigate a rash of deaths that are caused by snakebite.

On Episode 006 of the Scary Spirits Podcast Greg & Karen discuss the 1934 film, “Maniac”. The themed cocktail for this episode is the “Homicidal Maniac”.
A Brief Synopsis: A vaudeville performer becomes the lab assistant to a research scientist experimenting on re-animating dead tissue. When the doctor is accidentally killed during one of his experiments, the assistant takes on the persona of the doctor and continues his work. The imposter does succees in reviving the deceased doctor but then slowly falls into madness.

A Brief Synopsis: A newlywed couple returns from their honeymoon to the estate of the man’s late wife. The bride, a wealthy but extremely neurotic woman, uneasily settles into the home, walking the gardens of the estate that are meticulously kept by a strange gardner following the wishes of the deceased woman. The new lady of the house is tormented by the sudden appearance of skulls throughout the house and grounds. Is it the deceased woman coming back to drive her away or are there more sinister motives behind the skulls?

A Brief Synopsis: When a small Bavarian village is beset with a string of mysterious deaths, the local burgermeister demands answers into the attacks. While the police detectives refuses to believe the nonsense about vampires returning to the village, the local doctor treating the victims begins to suspect the truth behind the crimes, With more people falling victim to the attacks, the locals rally to try and hunt down the menace.

A Brief Synopsis: A surgeon working on experimental transplant procedures seems to be on the verge of a major breakthrough with his technique, even though his surgeon Father disapproves of his manner of research, While out driving with his fiancee, the doctor crashes his car and is horrified to discover his bride-to-be is decapitated, Rushing his fiancee’s head to his lab, he is able to revive her where she is now living as a bodiless entity kept alive by tubes and an experimental serum. Hoping to restore his fiancee, the surgeon begins to frequent bars and gentlemen’s clubs looking for a candidate for transplanting his fiancee’s head onto another body, all the while the fiancee grows to hate her surgeon boyfriend for refusing to let her die.

On Episode 002 of the Scary Spirits Podcast Greg & Karen discuss the 1963 film, “Dementia 13”.
A brief synopsis: Louise Haloran is faced with a dilemma since her husband John has died of a heart attack and she is not included in his Mother’s will. Traveling to his family’s ancestral home in Ireland, Lousie hopes to ingrain herself into the family while telling them that John is away on business. Unfortunately, John’s family is very dysfunctional due to the drowning death of his little sister years ago so Lousie must deal with some very bizarre behavior and strange happenings.
This episode’s cocktail is the “Irish Wake“. We hope that you enjoy it.

They arrive at the old mansion, during a storm, to be greeted by her strange Uncle and a house full of suspicious characters. It appears that she will be the next victim of the killer and is to be murdered at the hands of a gorilla controlled by her devious Uncle,”
