She was a pageant girl who had already garnered six prestigious titles. This included Little Miss Colorado, America's Royale Miss and Little Miss Charlevoix, among others. With her blonde hair, blue eyes and gorgeous smile she had a bright future ahead of her. JonBenét's parents were a wealthy couple living in Boulder Colorado. Her dad, John was a multi-millionaire businessman and her mother, Patricia, was a socialite and former beauty queen herself. Both parents were fond of their daughter and provided her everything she could ever need in their luxury plush home.It was 5:45 AM when Patsy Ramsey called 911 weeping and distraught, saying that her daughter, JonBenét had been kidnapped. Within 7 minutes, the first responders were already at the home. John led the officers inside into the kitchen where on the table was a three-page handwritten note from the supposed kidnapper. #2 Black Triangle UFO'sSince the early 80s, sightings of mysterious black triangle ships in the sky have been reported all over the world. These mysterious crafts are just as described - they have a triangle shape and are made from black or dark metal with flashing lights underneath. Among the first sightings of this type of UFO are those reportedly seen in Hudson Valley. It was 1983 when residents in the Hudson Valley of New York, reported a large craft fly over the area. (some say it was the size of a house and others reported it being as big as a football field) The craft had a distinct boomerang or triangular shape and had flashing lights on its underside. Witnesses also noted that it was made from a gunmetal or grayish color material. More than 5,000 people claimed seeing the huge ship and this included ordinary civilians, scientists and police officers. It was completely silent and slow moving and everyone was overwhelmed at the sheer size of it. Police were baffled when calls started coming in about the craft. Moreover, many estimate the ship was flying low at around 500-800 feet above the ground. The nearby Bradley International Airport neither confirmed nor denied the existence of the craft but said that if they had anything on radar it was most likely a weather balloon. These are 5 Disturbing real life vampires. 5. Rod FerrellIn 1995 15-year old, Rod Ferrell, was a disturbed teen. He developed a taste for the macabre, started taking drugs and practiced witchcraft - saturating himself with death, hate, war and pain. After being enamored by a vampire video game, he founded and headed his own "Vampire Clan," claiming himself to be a 500-year old vampire named Vesago. An aspiring member of the vampire clan was 15 year old Heather Wendorf. She had been living in Eustis, Florida when, Ferrell, together with Charity Keese, Scott Anderson and Dana Cooper – who were fellow members – went for a visit. Rod and Heather had been friends for a while and she allegedly told him that her parents were mistreating her. 4. Mercy Brown – The Vampire ChildIn 1892, tuberculosis or "consumption," swept through many States. Those inflicted would experience severe fevers, cough up blood, experience sunken eyes and deteriorate physically – as if life was being drained from their bodies. The disease became so widespread that people started believing a sinister force was behind it. Residents soon blamed the presence of the "undead" or vampires, especially in areas like Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut. 3. Tsutomu MiyazakiBorn in Tokyo in1962, Tsutomu was premature and weighed only 4 and a half pounds. He also suffered a birth deformity causing his joints and hands to be fused. As a result, he couldn't bend his wrists upwards and this deformity caused him great embarrassment and distress as he grew older. In elementary school, he was remembered as a bright but quiet student who had trouble making friends. By High school he lost interest in his studies and began to withdraw - collecting graphic porn videos, slasher films and anime. In May1988, his grandfather, who was the only person who ever showed him support, passed away and that’s when his connection to society and the world was severed. 2. Peter Kurten– The Vampire of DusseldorfBorn in 1883 to a dysfunctional and poor family, Peter was the oldest child. His father was a skilled worker but a severe and sadistic alcoholic that would abuse the family family regularly. By 9, he befriended a dogcatcher who would torture the animals he captured. Peter joined him and willingly tortured and killed animals as well and he also claims to have drowned two of his playmates around this time as well. As he grew older, he would engage in sodomy with animals where he found pleasure in stabbing them while engaged in the act. At 16, he ran away and was embroiled in petty crimes, landing him in prison over and over again. 1. Richard Chase, The Vampire of SacramentoFrom a young age Richard showed signs of abnormal behavior. He grew up with strict, disciplinarian parents where he would often get beatings from his father. He also bed wet at an older age, started setting fires and tortured animals. In 1968 at 18 years old he moved out of his home because he thought his mother was trying to poison him. He started capturing and torturing animals hoping to cure various delusional ailments. He would consume the animal remains raw or sometimes create "smoothies" by mixing them with Coke and drinking those. Then in 1975, he was admitted to a mental institution when he injected rabbit's blood into his veins. So there were 5 DISTURBING REAL LIFE VAMPIRESVampirism is not just for the movies but it actually happens in real life and These people are proof. The late president himself in his 1892 book titled, The Wilderness Hunter, chronicled this unique story. In it he described itsomething very strange that happened to a frontiersman named Bauman along with his partner. The two men were trapping around the remote area of Montana's Wisdom River during the 19th century. After walking around, they found their ideal campsite and started building a lean-to. They started putting up traps surounding the area and when they returned to camp were shocked to find that it had been ransacked and rummaged through. Their shanty tent had been torn down and Although they were disturbed, they pressed on and rebuilt it. As Bauman prepared dinner that evening his partner finally had time to examine the tracks that had been left behind in more detail. Initially thinking it was a bear, upon further examination his partner exclaimed, "Bauman, that bear has been walking on two legs." Bauman laughed at this but still checked out the tracks himself and it did seem to be something walking on 2 feet that made them. #2 Imperial Street KillingsKnown as the Cleveland Strangler, Anthony Edward Sowell is known for murdering 11 women - the remains of which he buried inside his home. Sowell was one of seven children and ever since he was young, he had a history of routinely abusing his own nieces. By 19, he joined the Marines and was there from 1978 - 1985 when he was discharged and even given a Good Conduct Medal, Certificate of Commendation and Letters of Appreciation. It was in 1989 when Sowell was charged with rape, kidnapping and attempted rape. A woman who was three months pregnant during the time went to his home and when she went to leave, was attacked by Anthony who then bound her feet and hands using a belt and tie. Their hearts raced, her husband kept on driving hoping to get away and then after a few moments the lights disappeared. 3. Betty and Barney HillBetty was a social worker while Barney worked at the US Postal Service. The couple was driving home to Portsmouth, New Hampshire after a weekend trip to see Niagara Falls. It was September 19, 1961, the day Betty observed a bright moving light in the sky. She reasoned it was probably a falling star but later on as the lights moved erratically and would grow bigger and brighter, she urged Barney to stop the car so they could watch it and also giving their dog a bathroom break from the long drive. 2. The Falcon Lake IncidentStefan Michalak was a mechanic by trade; but he loved prospecting for silver in his spare time. He left his home in Manatoba Canada on May 19th 1967, spent the night at a hotel and in early morning of May 20th, headed to Falcon Lake. By 9:00 AM, he began digging and a little after noon, was startled by several geese grunts. He looked up and that’s when he saw two cigar-shaped crafts flashing red and orange lights. They were slowly descending and as they approached, he could see they were more oval and disc-shaped.One of the crafts stopped descending while the other continued down and landed on a rock about 160 feet away from where he was. The remaining object in the sky changed colors into gray and flew off West. The stationary craft also turned gray and A strong sulphuric smell emanated from the area. 1. The Maury Island incidentAlthough it's not as popular as the other’s in this list, a unique and terrifying UFO encounter occurred on Maury Island in Washington State just two weeks before the famous Roswell UFO crash in New Mexico. In 1947, floating logs escaping from lumber mills commonly plagued the Puget Sound. It was a hazard that needed to be cleaned up regularly and it was Harold Dahl's job to do just. Dahl was a seaman who worked on harbor patrol, along side his supervisor Fred Crisman. On June 21, Dahl, together with his two men, his son and their dog were out in Puget Sound collecting wayward logs and By 2 PM their boat had reached the eastern shore of Maury Island. It was then when he looked up in the air that he noticed six doughnut-shaped crafts flying about 2000 feet above his boat. They were approximately 100 feet in diameter; with their center hole about 25 feet. Five of them were circling over a sixth one, which remained at the center. Soon, the middle ship descended and hovered just 500 feet above the water. those were 4 INCREDIBLE & STRANGE ALIEN ABDUCTION CASESThese encounters serve as strong proof there could be more about our universe we don't know. Of course, there are also the alien conspiracies that tie it to the Roswell UFO crash. And others speculate to the possibility that one of its hangars was used to film and fake the moon landings. Whatever it is that’s going on there, there’s no denying that the government doesn’t want anyone to know about it.So how did Area 51 become synonymous with secrecy and alien cover-up? Initially it was used to develop stealth reconnaissance aircrafts in the 1950’s, particularly the U-2. But in order for this to be built, the government needed a secure, desolate area to build a base; hence the area in Nevada was chosen. #2 Mary CelesteOn December 5, 1872, a British ship named the Dei Gratia DI Grasha spotted an unusual vessel adrift near the Azores. Captain David Morehouse, was surprised that he actually recognized the ship – and it was the Mary Celeste, which had left 8 days before him and crew had set out. The Mary Celeste was bound for Genoa, Italy and should have arrived already so The Captain steered course to offer help knowing something must have gone wrong. He sent a boarding party and discovered that nothing appeared wrong structuraly. Most of the crew's belongings were still in their quarters abut the cargo hold had filled up with about 4 feet of water. All of their rations were left behing including 6 months worth of water and food and barrels of alcohol. However, there were two very unsettling things: first, the only lifeboat on the ship was missing and second, not a single member of the crew could be found. Thus, the legacy of the Mary Celeste had begun. Everything about the Mary Celeste was a mystery and soon word spread about what happened. Man Kept Young Girl as PetIn 2016, a 17-year old girl went on social media in her hometown of St. George, Utah and posted saying she was “depressed and wanted someone to pick her up.” A 20-year old man named, “Carter,” replied to her message and the two communicated a few times before making plans to meet up. “Carter,” said he would help her with her depression and that she would find happiness with him. He added that he lived in Leeds and offered to let her stay in his home for two days. 3. Women’s Severed Heads FoundOn March 1, 2018 in Calcasieu Lake, Louisiana, a prison-inmate who was doing clean-up around the lake discovered a discarded shopping bag. When he investigated, he was shocked to find that inside was the decomposed head of a woman. The local sheriff and police investigated the crime scene and said nothing else had been found in the area. They added that the head was most likely thrown there and had been decomposing for several months. Authorities could not find any significant trauma to the skull, suggesting that if she was murdered, she was killed by other means aside from blunt force trauma to the head. 2. Father/Daughter with Child Die in Murder Suicide It’s a very unusual murder/suicide that baffled police who found four people dead across three different states. Steven Pladl first met his biological daughter, Katie when she was 17 years old. Steven and his then partner, Alyssa, had given up Katie when she was just a baby. By the time she turned 17, Katie looked for her biological parents hoping to begin a relationship with them1. Golden State Killer Finally CaughtFor over 40 years, the notorious Golden State Killer had been left to roam around and terrorize several victims. This psychopath had committed more than a dozen murders, over 50 rapes and 100 burglaries in California between 1974 and1986. However, despite the prolific crimes, police were unable to zero in on a suspect or make an arrest….. that is until last month. Every week Twisted Two's dives into a pair of uniquely terrifying true stories that are worthy of a more in depth look.#1 Lost Cosmonauts April 12, 1961, on this day, Yuri Gagarin became the first person to successfully head into space. However, despite Yuri's success, conspiracy theorists believe he wasn't the first one sent there by the Soviet Union. They say that there have been several other "Lost Cosmonauts" whose journey's didn't end well, and that their deaths have since been covered up. The theory of the Lost Cosmonauts began shortly after Yuri famously made it back safely from orbit. Unlike NASA, the launchings done by the Soviet Union were run by the military, hence, stories of secrecy and possibilities of a cover-up were rampant. So Is there any proof of this at all? For starters the Soviet Union was proud of trumpeting its wins all over the world, but were also notorious for shrouding and airbrushing "failures" from their records. One example of this is the Nedelin Catastrophe where more than 150 people died when an R-16 ballistic missile exploded at a launchpad. The records were swept from history and it wasn't until the collapse of the Soviet Union that the incident ever came to light. #2 Bardstown MurdersRegarded as a "place where neighbors still borrow cups of sugar," Bardstown is a small town located just south of Louisville, Kentucky. The town contains just 16,000 people and was once hailed as being the "Most Beautiful Small Town in America." But despite the proclamation, Bardstown also carries a dark and sinister truth. The town was in dissaray when four deaths and a missing person happened between 2013 & 2015 and It all started with the ambush killing of Police Officer Jason Ellis. In 2013 Jason was heading home from work when he stopped at Exit 34 to remove branches blocking the road. He stepped out of his vehicle, bent to pick up the debris and when he stood up, he was shot dead on the spot. When officers investigated the crime scene, they discovered that apparently the debris was placed there intentionally and the shooter waited in hiding for whoever was going to move it. These are 4 extremely terrifying and scary real hauntings. #4 The Myrtles PlantationMention the American South and you'll picture large plantation houses. These iconic structures embody the beauty of the American home and many also hold a unique past. One such home is the Myrtle's Plantation.Built in 1796 by lawyer, Whiskey Dave Bradford, the plantation was passed down to his daughter Sara and her husband Judge Clark Woodruff. The property has withstood the test of time and has seen wars come and go; switched between multiple owners; and also experienced multiple deaths. It's these deaths and the souls of the spirits that remain that has dubbed the Myrtle Plantation as "one of the most haunted homes" in America.The home is said to be haunted by about 12 ghosts, some of which died on the property, while others are strongly associated to the home and families that lived there. One of the most prominent stories is that of a servant slave named Chloe. #3 Tale Of Resurrection MaryChicago is a large city with it’s fair share of haunted houses and creepy graveyards. But one terrifying ghost haunts the highways of the area and she is known locally as Resurrection Mary. More than three dozen people have encountered, Seen and even spoke with Mary over the years and they all report similar accounts. On such is that of Jerry Paulus in 1939 who was at a local dance hall when he spotted a beautiful girl. He approached her and they spoke, laughed and danced for hours. He described her as rather quiet and also noticed she was cold to the touch. #2 La Laurie House in New OrleansOne of the most famous places in New Orleans, the La Laurie House has lived on in infamy, not just for it’s beautiful historical structure but also for what went on inside. Owned by Madame Delphine MacCarthy, who was better known as Madame La Laurie after she remarried, the house sits on a corner in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The family first moved in - in 1832. Madame La Laurie was among the most influential French-Creole ladies in the city, known for her business skills, beauty and wealth. Her two daughters were among the finest dressed girls in the city and her family was well respected.#1 Bachelor’s Grove CemeteryThe Bachelor's Grove Cemetery looks like any ordinary cemetery. Worn out gravestones peek from the Earth here and there while the surroundings area is covered with trees. The grounds around the cemetery were once home to immigrant settlers. It's asserted that the first burials there happened around the 1840s. However, others suggest that the land had been used as a burial site for German immigrant workers who got killed on the job as early as the 1830s. The area is also believed to be a favorite dumping ground for Chicago mobsters during the 1930s and 40s. A small lagoon in the back of the was said to be the place for hit men to kill and dump snitches or anybody that crossed them. Every week Twisted Two's dives into a pair of uniquely terrifying true stories that are worthy of a more in depth look.#1 The West Mesa MurdersIn February of 2009 a woman was walking around a Mesa with her dog when she stumbled upon a human femur bone. She called the police and that led to one of the most shocking discoveries in New Mexicos History. Various scattered bones were collected over a 92-acre plot of land. The bones belonged to 11 different women that ranged between the ages of 15 and 32. It took the police over a year to identify each one of the victims, uncovering the likley hood that a serial killer was on the loose. Sitting outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico, West Mesa was a desert region back in the early 2000. It wasn't until 2006 when real estate developmers began putting up housing there. But the housing bubble burst in 2008, which caused many projects to halt unexpectedly overnight, sometimes even before anything could be built. Because of flooding in the area, a retaining wall was created that forced storm water into a detention pond. This is ultimately what helped pushed the buried bones up to the grounds surface. #2 Johnny GoschIn September of1982 in Iowa, 13-year old Johnny Gosch went out on his morning paper route . Normally he knocks on his father's door before heading out so he could accompany him but on this particular morning, he decided not to. Instead, he took the family's dachshund. Multiple paper carriers saw Johnny collecting his papers at The Des Moines Register. This would be one of the last times he would ever be seen. Shortly afterwards with a red wagon filled with newspapers in tow, along with his dog, Johnny was stopped by a man in a blue two-toned Ford Fairmont who was asking for directions. A neighbor saw the interaction through his bedroom window but he couldn't hear anything they were saying. Johnny was with another paper carrier and he apparently told one of the older boys that he was going home - visibly unnerved at the encounter with the unknown man.
