My friends, I am here to tell you that it is bad. It is really, really bad. Special topics for your consideration include: nonstop relationship red flags, daringly naming a character "BEAUTIFUL SWAN" on purpose, the return of a certain fan-favorite bell, Mike Dexter, spring training, ravioli, hunky dads, and becoming a true crime podcast instead. 

Warning: this episode is particularly NSFW. Like even more so than usual.

Frankly I'm not sure that there's a more wretched vampire film than this one, but that might just be because Danzig's new project hasn't been released yet. Special topics for your consideration include: questionable parenting choices, the perks of being a manchild, a celebration of a different film that truly never stops amazing us, movie punks, nip slips, child support, tiny knives and an extremely prescient dream.

I know Stuart Gordon directed this film but frankly I like Charles Band better, so let's talk about movies that he's had a hand in: Episode 156- "Gingerdead Man," Episode 164- "Puppet Master," Episode 165- "Puppet Master 2," Episode 171- "Ghoulies," Episode 186- "Tourist Trap," and Episode 199- "Terrorvision." Somehow we have never tackled an "Evil Bong" film so uh...stay tuned for that, I guess??

In this week's episode, we're discussing the brand new entry into the Halloween franchise, "Halloween Kills." Special topics for your consideration include: two of our patron saints (Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer obviously), when flipping the script goes wrong and who is to blame for it, the lamentation of Josh Hartnett no longer existing in this universe, cop school, vigilante justice, sentimentality, and looking like you financially support NPR.

We have never and probably will never cover the 1978 "Halloween," but we have covered "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" (Episode 52), "Halloween H20" (Episode 201), "Halloween: Resurrection" (Episode 202), and "Halloween" (the Rob Zombie reimagining, Episode 304).

It's the exciting conclusion of our rock block, EMTs! We're discussing the second installment of the adventures of Pennywise the Dancing Clown in the 2019 film, "It Chapter Two." Special topics for your consideration include: the potential redemption of James McAvoy (we'll see), CGI bug babies and the feelings they stir up, trying to be friends with Jessica Chastain, a generalized disdain for giant Paul Bunyan, and the return of a classic recurring gag for us. 

Last week (Episode 351) we discussed the first half of this unendingly long film series. In Episode 97 we discussed the miniseries. And just for fun, in Episode 126 we discussed "Cabin in the Woods," which I mention only because it's the spookytimes season and it's still one of my (Katie) favorite spookytimes movies of the last decade. *dj air horn* It's our 350th episode! We actually didn't realize until...well, right now. But that's okay, because we think it's a pretty good one. This episode represents our return to the Wan-iverse with James Wan's newest film, "Malignant." Special topics for your consideration include: some more life advice from your friends who know nothing-- including some on both hypnotherapy and falling down, a little bit of DMB talk (please don't come at us DMB fans, it's fine, we're sorry), Five Inch Nails, some real "Paranormal Activity"-level spooky kid stuff, and a slander being righted in the most delightful way (stick around to the end for that one).

The Wan-iverse is vast and we've really disliked most of it. Find out more with Episode 81- "Saw," Episode 96- "The Conjuring," Episode 303- "Insidious" and Episode 333- "The Conjuring 2." I was also 90% sure we'd done "The Nun" but the records beg to differ and they are probably right, so.

Hi EMTs,

Katie here, holding down the fort while Allen takes a bit of much-needed time off. I had suggested to him that I pick a few episodes to re-release that could use a bit more love, so I'm starting off with what is probably my all-time favorite: the 2007 Lindsay Lohan spectacle "I Know Who Killed Me." Guys, this film is the greasy pizza-shaped stain on the sidewalk of cinema and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. I loved discussing it with my pal, and I am loving sharing it with you again. It's absolutely, utterly, nonsensically insane in all the best/worst ways. I hope you enjoy it.
