Frances WorthingtonOn January 1, 1996, 76-year old, Frances Worthington from Knoxville, Tennessee was found dead inside her home. That morning, Frances’ son, Mike, phoned her to check on his mother. When she didn’t answer the calls, he decided to head to her home and check. Once his son got there. He found something disturbing. Police said it was an unusual crime scene. Items were found scattered in the house, flour and sugar were thrown on the floor, in what seemed like an attempt by the intruder to find hidden valuables. 3. Hannah WilliamsBenson Williams called 911 in a panic. He said his daughter, 17-year old Hannah Williams was missing. He said his daughter drove off with a rental car and was taking anti-depressants. The dispatcher asked if he was concerned Hannah might harm herself, her father responded, “I am.” 2. Bumble Bee Road MurdersFor a young Scottsdale, Arizona couple, it was supposed to be a happy day. It was their first anniversary and they celebrated it by going on a camping trip to Sunset Point, just off Bumble Bee Road - only, the couple never came back alive. 1. Jerry “Mike” BaylesOn October 3, 1970, 11-year old Jerry “Mike” Bayles, took his brother’s paper route and cruised the morning streets of his neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kelly was seen talking to other customers at the bar and left around 7:10 P.M. After he left, he was never seen again. 4. Sam ToddSamuel Todd and his brother, Adam, decided to greet the New Year’s Eve of 1984 by attending several parties around Manhattan, New York. After jumping from one party to the next, at 1:30 A.M., Sam and a group of friends went to another party at 271 Mulberry Street. By this time, Samuel Todd was intoxicated and complained that his head was spinning. 3. Katrin KonertLike any 15-year old, Katrin Konert from Waddewitz, Germany, had her secrets. For her, it was a secret older boyfriend named Joachim. The man was twice her age, late 20s. Although she never told her parents about her boyfriend, his sisters and friends did know about him. 2. Benjamin CoffeyOn New Year’s Day of 2012, Benjamin Coffey attended a gathering with friends to celebrate the New Year at Gloucester, Virginia. He spoke to a friend around dinner time and soon after, told a friend he was going home because he was tired. The following day, Virginia State Police discovered Benjamin’s abandoned van at Tappahannock, Virginia - an hour away from where he was last seen. 1. Ben Smart and Olivia HopeTo welcome the New Year of 1998, young couple Olivia Hope (17) and Ben Smart (21), headed to Marlborough Sound in New Zealand to party. The museum alarm was still tipped off at 4:59 A.M. Within 5 minutes the police were at the scene but the thieves were gone. 4. Chemistry Professors Arrested In a case of life imitating art, two chemistry professors in Arkansas were arrested for allegedly running a meth lab. Bradley Allen Rowland (40) and Terry David Bateman (45) both worked for the Henderson State University and were taken into police custody on November 15. 3. Mysterious Howls in OntarioFor Gino Meekis, a 39-year old Canadian native living in the Sioux Lookout, it was an ordinary hunting day with his wife and grandson on October 3, 2019. Everything seemed fine. They hiked for 10-15 minutes, walked down looking for grouse. Then they turned around and started walking back to their vehicle. And that’s when they heard it. 2. The Confession Killer“I’ve killed them every way except poison.” Those are the chilling words of a man who claimed to have killed over 600 people. Serial killer Henry Lee Lucas shot to notoriety when he was arrested in the 80s for killing his mother and two others in Texas. During his trial, he offhandedly remarked about killing “100 of ‘em” and soon, local Georgetown police wanted to find out more. 1. 1984 Life on Mars FoundFor a long time, people have been speculating whether life on Mars is possible. But apparently, if this CIA document is real, it’s possible there could be one millions of years ago. A mysterious CIA document that sat declassified for years recently caught the attention of curious aliens and conspiracy enthusiasts. Danny FilippidisFor firefighter Danny Filippidis, 6 whole days of his life was a blur. On February 7, 2018, the Toronto firefighter was on a ski trip with friends and co-workers at Whiteface Mountain ski resort in Wilmington, New York. It was around 2:00 P.M., most Danny’s friends had decided they were done for the day and returned to the lodge. But Danny still wanted to go on one last run, so he did. 2. Damian McKenzie It was September 4, 1974, 10 -year old Damian McKenzie was attending a youth camp in the mountains of Victoria, Australia. The camp was run by the Young Australia League and was meant to be a 5-day outdoor trip where students could go hiking and engage in various outdoor activities. Every step of the trip was supervised and the children were always kept within sight. 1. Kathryn Ott It was 2014 when 56-year old, Kathryn Ott vanished. Unlike previous cases, Kathryn's disappearance is out of her own will. She’s described as being 5’3” tall and about 120-140 pounds. At 10:05 P.M., amidst all the music, shots began to ring out in rapid succession. One by one, people dropped to the ground. Concert-goers rushed out in masses trying to get to safety. Ten minutes later, the gunfire stopped. Over 800 people were injured, trampled or hit by gunfire while 52 people lost their lives. “Completely Dumbfounded”Eric Paddock from Orlando, Florida was “completely dumbfounded” when he found out his brother, Stephen Paddock had gone on a shooting spree. It felt like “Mars just fell into the Earth,” he said. For him, he knew his brother as just a guy who stayed at hotels at the strip, gambled his money and attended various shows. Born in Clinton, Iowa as Stephen Craig Paddock, Stephen was the oldest of four sons by Benjamin Paddock - a bank robber who was once arrested for his crimes in 1960. Roberto Calvi On June 18, 1982, at 7:30 AM, a postal clerk on his way to work saw the body of a man hanging from the scaffolding beneath Blackfriar’s bridge in London. The man was dressed in a gray suit, white waistcoat, and blue shirt. He had shoes and socks but no belt or tie. On his hand was an expensive wristwatch, stopped at 1:52 A.M. And in his pockets, jacket and even in his crotch area was inserted 12 pounds worth of heavy bricks. 1. Michele Sindona Born in Messina, Michele Sindona rose from his humble small-town beginnings to become a self-made millionaire. After graduating with a law degree in the University of Messina in1942, he moved to Sicily then Milan where his skill with laundering money and evading tax earned him the respect of Mafia bosses. At times, she would hang out and walk to a hill across Maple Avenue - an area where teens would often hang out.#2 Lizard Man A Seven-foot tall, scaly humanoid… the “Lizard Man” is a mysterious creature said to lurk in the swampland areas of Lee County, South Carolina.It was July 14, 1988, when the Sheriff was called in to investigate damage to a vehicle parked at a home just at the edges of Scape Ore Swamp. The car was said to have scratches with bits of hair and even toothmarks. There were also indications of muddy footprints near the vehicle.
