His father suffered from schizophrenia and eventually divorced from his wife in 1994. #2 Amy BilligIt was March 5, 1974, 17-year old, Amy Billig, just got home from school and had plans of heading out to meet her friends later in the day. But Amy didn’t have any money, so she phoned her dad and asked if she could borrow some from him. He agreed and Amy left to head to her father’s office. According to Evie’s mother, the family had just cashed in their income tax money and decided to go on the trip. 2. Simon KadwillHailed as the “Doomsday Cult family,” the disappearance of Simon Kadwill (45), Chantelle McDougall (27), her daughter, Leela McDougal (6) and their family friend and boarder, Antonio Popic (40), triggered a nationwide investigation. Days before they disappeared, the family from Nannup, Western Australia called their real estate agent and told him they were leaving their home and that he could have their furniture. 1. The Martin FamilyIt was December 7, 1958 when the Martin family from Portland, Oregon went on a daytrip to the Columbia River Gorge and never returned. The Jayme Closs Story: 88 Days Missing“Jayme Closs found alive!”Newspaper and online news media blasted those words when the FBI confirmed the13-year old girl was found alive and safe after being missing for 88 days.October 15, 2018It was 12:58 A.M. when a 911 call came through to the Barron County Sheriff’s Department. The dispatcher tells officers that they received a distressing call from from the residence at 1268 U. S. 8, outside Barron County, Wisconsin - a community of about 3,000 people. The call came through but they weren’t able to speak with the caller. All they could hear was yelling and screaming before the line got cut off. Dispatchers tried calling back but only got the voice mail. Local deputies then arrived and Immediately, they could see something was wrong. The front door was kicked in. They stepped inside and close to the front door, was the body of 56-year old, James Closs. They walk inside further to find another body, that of 46-year old, Denise Closs. The two were husband and wife who had been working at a local turkey processing plant called Jennie-O for decades. Police also found the family dog, Molly but She was left unharmed. As they looked around, authorities realized there was one person missing, the couple’s only child, 13-year old daughter, Jayme. Local police believe she was at home at the time and they feared she may have been taken. Soon, investigators from the FBI and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children showed up to help. Thornewood Castle Inn & GardensBuilt by Chester Thorne, this 27,000-square foot manor took almost 4 years to build. Many of the parts were imported from an actual 400-year old English Castle. The stained-glass panels are also old, dating back to the 1300 while the crystal windows were also crafted in England. One of the oldest, it has been around for more than 100 years. Built alongside the Hospital of Belen, this cemetery was created on the grounds of the gardens surrounding the hospital. It was once divided into two spaces: one reserved for the poor or “regular folks,” and the other reserved for wealthy patrons.#2 Brian Jones Drowning Conspiracy theorists and Rolling Stones fans everywhere have long argued that former Rolling Stones co-founder, Brian Jones, didn’t die accidentally but was in fact murdered.
