Dan's stories today are set in America and both in historically significant settings. Massachusetts’ Longfellow’s Wayside Inn and the ghost of a former employee - perhaps succubus of sorts that’s been haunting the place for over a century-and-a-half is the show opener.  Then we’ll head south a bit to Maryland, and look into various claims of spirits that may haunt historic Fort McHenry the site of a battle that inspired the writing of America’s Star Spangled Banner.  Next up, Lynze has some wild, cool and interesting tales. first off, a tale of a funeral director and his encounter with the Smoking Man. Then, a super creepy run in with an old hag, trying to lure in young children.

Dan has a longer amount of story content this week, getting us ready for Halloween!  A murderous monster from South America and a disturbing disappearance from North America. We don’t want to give too much away about either. The first, if anyone is familiar, revolves around La Patasola, a vampiric entity that allegedly dwells in the forests of Columbia.  And the second story is the 1981 disappearance of an Ohio woman named Cindy Anderson. Lynze also has a huge amount of horror this week! Her first tale is the strange tale of a young woman who meets a household ghost that seems to be stuck in one portion of the house. Then, to close out the episode, Lynze tells us about a very creepy doll family that feels all too real.

The second involves a trifecta of UFO sightings in Canada from 1967 that for many, are still the most concrete proof for UFOs that Canada has ever produced. Holy hell! Jeff Burton was a long time staple on The Rizzuto Show, a show that has supported Dan and Timesuck and Bad Magic for a long time. Jeff recently passed away after a grueling fight against cancer. Even while Jeff was fighting for his life, he made it a priority to raise money for Kids Rock Cancer. Kids Rock Caner is an innovative program that helps children successfully cope with the unique emotional challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Through the proven healing power of music therapy, Kids Rock Cancer helps children combat feelings of anxiety, depression, uncertainty and helplessness. Jeff  was just 55 years old. He is survived by his wife, Juli  and their two daughters, Abby and Casey.

Kids Rock Caner is an innovative program that helps children successfully cope with the unique emotional challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Through the proven healing power of music therapy, Kids Rock Cancer helps children combat feelings of anxiety, depression, uncertainty and helplessness. Jeff  was just 55 years old. He is survived by his wife, Juli  and their two daughters, Abby and Casey.

Dan's first story is about  one of the subjects that creeps people out the most and, like with the doll story last week, it’s something we haven’t talked about much recently: Dopplegangers.  A young man has been haunted by SOMETHING at his family’s Montana lake cabin for many years. The second story is the Legend of Goatman’s Bridge. Who or what is the Goatman and how did he - or it - come to haunt a little rural area of Texas? Lynze's first story is a WILD one about a possible glitch in the matrix!! Then, with hunting season upon us, a bizarre story about a women in the woods.

Dan has his usual two tales! The first REALLY gives goosebumps. This is the most wicked haunted or cursed or possessed doll we’ve come across so far! Next, we’ll head to the Appalachian Trail and look at a couple examples of uncomfortable and frightening encounters with dark figures that not only have been reported to watch hikers, but also to kidnap and attack them. If you believe these reports to be true, this story is gonna make you think twice about any hikes  you may have planned. Then Lynze has two really awesome stories to tell this week! Going in the theme of being out in nature, she shares the story of a couple camping and being disturbed by some mysterious entity? creature? ghost? Finishing out the episode, she tells us the tale of a kind, sweet man who is also a skeptic who is then possessed and is skeptic no more.

Dan had two really fun haunted house types of tales this week. He kicks it off with a haunting at The Moana Surfrider hotel in Waikiki. It would appear that a death that took places many, many years prior has resulted in a female ghost hanging around. When a male visitor stays at the hotel, it would seem she thinks he is someone else. Mistaken identity gone wrong! Then in his second tale, we encounter a new set of Darren's in the Lee Family Haunting. Lynze also has her usual two tales. A clown haunting that spans from childhood to adulthood and possible demonic attachment, but not how you'd think!

Bad Magic Productions Monthly Patreon Donation: This months charity donation is going to Camp Easton, a boy scouts camp here in CDA. Camp Easton is where we are hosting our Wet Hot Bad Magic Summer Camp!! We are donating $15,400 to them and putting $2000 into the scholarship fund! While visiting the location on many occasions, I have come to know some of the staff and hear about the needs of the camp. As with all places that are host to camps, they have a laundry list of repairs and upgrades that would be incredibly beneficial!
