Happy end of 2023! You made it! We'd love it if you stuck around until the end of the show to hear some insight into Bad Magic and what we do here!  Dan has his two awesome stories, the first comes from northern Nevada. We’ll visit the former mining boom town of Gold Hill and learn about all the haunted lore that surrounds its old Yellow Jacket mine. Then, we’ll head to Georgia for the heavily documented 19th century haunting known as the Surrency Poltergeist. One of the most verified hauntings in American history. Lynze has three creepy stories to end the year. Her first asks us to look at the Norse gods as a possible character that might show up in your life. Then she takes us on a journey with a truck driver and an entity that has been with him all over the country. Lastly, she shares an especially creepy tale about a haunted hotel room!

Dan shares two awesome tales this week. The first is set just outside the little Eastern Oregon city of La Grande. We'll learn about the allegedly haunted Hot Lake Springs Hotel and a unique modern encounter tale from a journal left for guests to write about their stay. And then, we'll learn what the wonderful actress and author Carrie Fisher had to say about the paranormal before she passed away too soon in 2016. Lynze has two incredible stories! Her first explores a family history of a possible curse and then the modern haunted house encounters of some people unrelated to the family. In her last story, get the Kleenex, this one will get you in the feels. A great story of poltergeist activity that leads a mom to some valuable information about her kid.

Dan has three stories this week! His first story takes us to the UK for the story of Anne Naylor, her said demise and subsequent haunting.  Then a strange story of bizarre goop falling from the sky in Oakville, Washington. Lastly, a good old haunted house story with ouija boards and curses and ghosts!  Lynze takes this week to show us a different side of hauntings by exploring the energy left behind from our loved ones. Nothing to scary but the stories are sweet and once again, lend credibility to the overall ideas explored here.

Dan has a mysterious disappearance and an urban legend that some think is a lot more than just a legend. His first tale focuses on the strange circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a young man in Colorado back in 2008. The second story will bring us to a cemetery in Iowa where an angelic statue has gained a reputation for not being very…. angelic. Is the Black Angel of Iowa City, Iowa's Oakland Cemetery cursed? Lynze has two great stories this week as well! She will kick it off with a bizarre and hard-to-explain story about a hot tub and a cell phone- we will leave it at that. And her second story is a banger with haunted house vibes, doppelgangers, and a jinn!

Dan shares the story of a  Korean horror lore that many people claim to be much more than an urban legend. And then, we get a little Lovecraftian, and explore a mystery that revolves around the possibility of horrible things that may live in the ocean depths.  Lynze shares just one story about a probable alien abduction and how this may be happening to one family over many years.

Dan has three stories this week, a rarity! The first tale revolves around the possible curse of The Iceman mummy. Are a series of deaths related to the discovery of a very ancient body found near the border between Italy and Austria? Next, we stay in Europe and head to Spain, examining the mystery of La Mussara - an abandoned village near the city of Tarragona. Does the fog the frequently blankets the town have anything to do with numerous disappearances and all kinds of paranormal sightings? Finally, a good-old fashioned haunting in Chicago. But one that lead to the first nationally televised history, when the Beckers sought to rid their new home of threatening activity.  Lynze is sharing some Halloween fun! Her first story is about a haunted or possessed doll named Claire at the The Museum of Shadows in Omaha. Then, she takes us on long journey about a the Witches Watertower and a seance held there on Halloween.

For the second story, a bit of history and paranormal lore from a haunted farm in Illinois: Willow Creek Farm. Can spirits in a haunted home not only torment anyone living in the house, but other spirits as well? Lynze bring three stories this week. Her first tale shares a persons journey to rid themself of a dark energy. Then a story about a mimic or a spirit or was it all in his head? Lastly, a story about helping a spirit move on after several incidents.
