Who Sees Is Also Seen (Podoween 2020 Day 2)
Released on 10/03/2020
Podoween starts again! So, what is Podoween you might be wondering? It's a challenge that we started in October of 2018 where we here at DrunkInAGraveyard.com read a nice little spooky story or release a podcast episode everyday for the month of October.
Storytelling and scary stories were so integral to us as growing up, and since everything kinda sucks we wanted to share some spookiness with you for the spookiest month of the year.
We are joined this year by some wonderful horror fiction authors, some creepypasta and spooky spaghetti makers, and today for Day 2 - we have a wonderful short story called "Who Sees Is Also Seen" by S. R. Hughes. Â

Episode 158 | Reply Guy Philosophy
Released on 08/29/2020
Our newest episode has us covering more Fantasia Film Festival offerings, this time in the form of a video game adaptation, a zombie flick that cuts close to home and a suspenseful French-Canadian twist on the idea of vampires. First up is Detention, directed by John Hsu, which is an adaptation of the game of the same name that follows a group of students who defy book ban orders in Tiawan during the White Terror. After that is Bleed With Me, directed by Amelia Moses, a tale of friends who go on vacation to cabin where things quickly turn strange becuase (you guessed it) things aren't quite on the up and up. The final movie this week is Yummy, a Belgian zombie flicks directed by Lars Damoiseaux that's heavy on the gore and the laughs and may or may not be based on Rigby's life.

Episode 156 finds the crew a ninja down, with Rigby doing whatever it is Rigby does (probably something vodka related), discussing the documentary Clapboard Jungle from director Justin McConnell that's playing at this years online Fantasia Film Festival starting August 20th. Clapboard Jungle uses Justin's own personal journey of getting his films made as a framework to dive into all the dark corners of the indie film world that you might not thing of when you think of people making movies. Episode 153 |Art To Fart
Released on 07/19/2020
This episode Scott, Robin and Rigby (who has returned wielding soju and a deep knowledge of Korean drama's) talk 2010's Terror Trap and the recently released Relic. Terror Trap, a low, low, incredibly low budget murder hotel flick is up first and just so happens to star Graveyard favourite Michael Madsen as the big name draw. Spoiler: I don't think he can save this one. After that it's Relic, the newly released film that attempts to tackle dementia and old age, in maybe not the most graceful or successful way.

Episode 152 | Scared Straight 1908
Released on 07/04/2020
This week Scott and Robin find out what happens when you watch too many movies about dolls in short pants back to back. Spoiler: it isn't pretty. First up is "Brahms: The Boy 2", a sequel to 2016's "The Boy", this follow up throws everything that made sense from the first movie right into the trash in an attempt to the series start over(?). Obviously this has mixed results. After that is "Cruel Peter: The Boy", an indie leaning movie with a subtitle that seems to try and make a connection to The Boy series that isn't there. What is there is 100% more weird little doilies being worn as clothing. Oh and kids saying creepy stuff because you need that.

Episode 151 | Skip The Dishes For Homes
Released on 06/21/2020
This week, the crew is chatting about all kinds of stuff, starting off with the all new and updated Drunk in a Graveyard Patreon page, which will be including our poetry class - Michael Madsen's Poetical Poetry. In other not so hilarious or edumacational news, Robin and Scotty chat about the Twitch playthrough of KHOLAT, which is a Polish/Russian game that originated on PC that just got a Nintendo Switch port that tells the story of the Dyatlov Pass Incident and is narrated by British actor Sean Bean. Complicated game mechanics and much wandering in the snow seem to hamper the spooks and scares, but our crew shall prevail. Rounding out the episode, the crew chats about Blumhouse Picture's latest effort "YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT" starring Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried which is just a cautionary tale about AirBnB listings.
