Fox, Dee Wallace, Jake Busey and more.  We discuss the differences between serial killers and spree killers, along with the usual nonsensical banter.  Have fun and stay spooky!

G'day, Mates! The gang head to the Outback to discuss the 2005 Australian film "Wolf Creek." This gritty horror is partly inspired by the real life Backpacker Murders and infamous Australian killer Ivan Milat. We dig into Milat's backstory, the disturbing murders he committed, and other horrific tales from Down Under. And yes, bad Aussie accents abound in this episode! So don't be a bloke and tune in to The Horror You Know!

This movie may be "Inspired By True Events" but the facts behind the story are as silent as the house. The gang dig up as much as they can on the Uruguayan crime that inspired this film, and then drunkenly speculate on the rest.

We also breakdown Silent House from a filmmaking perspective, laud over the great Elizabeth Olsen, and compare/contrast it with the 2010 Uruguayan original film La Casa Muda (The Silent House).

So if your house is a little too silent, turn on The Horror You Know!

While the lake in this film differs from the real Lake Placid, and the real legend sadly doesn't feature any crocodiles, that doesn't stop us from enjoying this rollicking 1999 creature feature. Amongst all the croc talk, we do "dive in" to the chilling tale of the Mabel Douglass, aka The Lady In The Lake.

We are covering the incredibly tragic story of Sylvia Likens, the young Indiana girl brutally tortured by her caretaker and fellow neighborhood children. Fair warning, this is one of the sadder, more twisted tales we've covered so far, especially considering it involves children. We discuss the 2007 film based on the Jack Ketchum book (a more fictionalized account of the story) while also taking a look at the other 2007 film, An American Crime, the more non-fictionalized version.

The taglines for the frightening 1990 Jacob's Ladder do not begin to explain this mind melting film.  Listen in as the boys from THYK talk about the hallucinogens, the CIA, and other nefarious things.  

Our buddy Wells rejoins us this week, so it's no coincidence that this episode explores the mind of a serial killer. While his story will have to wait, we are taking a look at the deeply disturbing Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, loosely based on the life of Henry Lee Lucas. We detail Henry's story, which includes one of the more messed up childhoods among serial killers we've covered, while also exploring what makes the 1986 film so effective and haunting.

We're now in the dog days of summer, so let's rewind back to the summer of 1977 NYC when fear & panic were spreading through the city at an all-time high. David Berkowitz, stuck in his own "dog daze", was terrorizing the nights with a string of serial killings under the pseudonyms the .44 Caliber Killer or, more famously, his self-dubbed name, the Son of Sam.  We detail Berkowitz's crimes while also discussing the 1999 Spike Lee joint Summer of Sam. We're hittin' the road with Mickey & Mallory for a wild episode that's sure to get people talking as we cover one of the most controversial films ever made — the Oliver Stone classic Natural Born Killers

We recount a few stories that were influenced by the film, and we also get a little political this week as we discuss gun violence and the age old argument: is it fair to blame films, video games, and other media for violent crimes and behavior?
