Although the sex is pretty vanilla and the film is far too long (3 hours?!), we have to admit: this film is both surprisingly funny and occasionally hot.

Watch out for that cow and get ready for "intense depiction of very bad weather" because we're discussing Jan de Bont's 1996 effects extravaganza Twister! Tagging in for the conversation is Edison Skinner, the co-host of the Talk Movie to Me podcast!

Join us as we do a deep dive into this film's very troubled production history before marveling at the sheer movie magic on display. From the computer-generated twisters (which still hold up!) to extensive practical effects, it's a true marvel of a film.

Ready for an all-night sexual odyssey? We're going LONG on Stanley Kubrick's final masterpiece, Eyes Wide Shut (1999) which stars then real-life Hollywood A-list couple, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Trace has a lengthy production history for this Guinness Record-holding film, which appears to be making fun of Cruise's own stardom and sexuality?

Plus: high praise for Kidman's two confession scenes, selling the film on sex, the cast that could have been, secret societies on and off screen, and talk of Kubrick "edging" the audience for 2.5 hours.
