The Fan 1981 (w/ Megan Sunday) - Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

The Fan 1981 (w/ Megan Sunday)

Released on 02/05/2021

The wait is OVER, and the Body Count continues… IN SONG! That’s right, Gena gets her way, and we obsess over the 1981 stalker/musical THE FAN. Along the way, we debate whether Michael Biehn is “mint condition” or a sexy fetus, explore sleazy Stage Door Annies, take a smoking lunch before traveling to Kill City, wonder why Griffin Dunne is such a cock blocker, the many unnatural fibers of Hector Elizondo, and Patrick SINGS! Of course, the show isn’t over until we play Choose Your Own Deathventure - plus we meet Phantom of the Doritos! Check it out!!

Kill The Video Star - Rockwell's Somebody's Watching Me - Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

Kill The Video Star - Rockwell's Somebody's Watching Me

Released on 01/29/2021

For your consideration, one paranoid singer/songwriter, the biggest voice in pop singing your hook, and one dude in a diaper. Yes, we’re talking about the one-hit-wonder Rockwell and his signature video, Somebody’s Watching Me. We talk about the video’s many horror connections, the lack of tasteful nudes, graveyard diapers, this video’s connection to A Christmas Carol, we learn that Patrick can’t remember how to pronounce Jenga, and we ask if paranoid delusions can be elevated by showering. All this and more on this week’s Kill The Video Star!

Kill The Video Star - Billy Squier's Rock Me Tonight - Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

Kill The Video Star - Billy Squier's Rock Me Tonight

Released on 01/22/2021

If you had other plans, put them on hold! It’s time to Rock Me Tonight with Billy Squier as we continue our near-death mini-series Kill The Video Star. It’s the chilling tale of one early 80s rocker meeting his untimely career death via a poorly choreographed dance routine. Virgin puppets, floor writhing, silk sheet mountains, hotness exhaustion, aggressive finger snaps, fashion smelting, and rock’s answer to Ed Grimley. All this, plus we get to the bottom of something that sadly plagues too many men: premature shirt-ripping. Join up with your unsuccessful clones and listen, won’t you?

Kill The Video Star - Benny Mardones' Into The Night - Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

Kill The Video Star - Benny Mardones' Into The Night

Released on 01/15/2021

People, we love you! The thing is, we’re still not quite ready to tackle a full film yet - so we’re jumping into the Wayback machine to find music videos just as horrifying as the fright flicks we usually gab about. So in this new limited series called Kill The Video Star, Gena & Patrick talk about one of the most inexplicable radio hits of the 80s, Benny Mardones’ Into The Night! We talk cigarette kicks, alleyway peepers, thousand-yard stares, magic carpet proposals, married vampires, senior portraits dissolves, and Hawkmen. And finally, we debate whether this music video is the most disturbing footage we’ve watched for the show.

Dish By Dish S1 Ep13 "Savoureux" - Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

Dish By Dish S1 Ep13 "Savoureux"

Released on 01/08/2021

It's the episode the Grim Reaper did not want you to hear! That's right, Gena returns to the show after her medical emergency, and it's a story you must hear for yourself. Also, we watched the first season finale of Hannibal and stuff - but really, it's hard to separate the two. We discuss stalking elks, wet dreams, whether Hannibal's tears are real, why Jack is being such a hardass, and the building sexual chemistry between the entire cast of the show. It's an orgy of Hannibal worship and personal discovery!!

The Seduction (1981)

Released on 12/25/2020

Welcome to Kill By Kill: After Dark as we unlock a Patreon exclusive for Christmas and unwrap all the sweaty unsavoriness of 1981’s THE SEDUCTION, starring Morgan Fairchild as a woman no one wants to believe, trust, or listen to, and Andrew “The Stalkening” Stevens sporting the dry look. Along the way, we discuss the mystery of the 3rd Hardy Boy, Patrick explains “hill living” in LA, we explore kissing Dick Tracy villains, consider getting a “facial by mail,” and, of course, we talk about the Pillow Cactus. Of course, we get into everything Colleen Camp, baby-arm-length camera lenses, and the plague of indoor ferns.

Dish By Dish S1 Ep12 "Reveles"

Doppelgänger (w/ Becky Wilson) - Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

Doppelgänger (w/ Becky Wilson)

Released on 12/11/2020

December. The time of year when we remember family and friends... and forget to listen to Kill By Kill. Well, you're going to remember this! We're unlocking one of our favorite episodes from the Patreon vault: 1990's Doppelgänger starring an underaged and under-clothed Drew Barrymore and Fade To Black's Dennis Christopher! We talk about blood showers, obvious background acting, hat characterization, Mission Impossible masks, and the film's many endings - none of which you will believe! Plus, we've got a very sexy Choose Your Own Deathventure, and Patrick admits that he doesn't understand this movie. Like, at all!

Dish By Dish S1 Ep11 "Roti" - Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

Dish By Dish S1 Ep11 "Roti"

Released on 12/04/2020

Are serial killers born or made? Well, in Season 1, Episode 11 of Hannibal, the answer is all of the above. Patrick & Gena have a lot on their plate here as Will descends into a walking wet dream while everyone else keeps gaslighting him about his obviously slipping grip on reality. And that's all before Dr. Abel Gideon escapes custody and decides to play Milton Bradley's Operation with Dr. Chilton! Plus, how well can you tie a bow with arteries? Is that a penis in that tree? What is the deal with Freddie Lounds already? And finally, we play Choose Your Own Death-venture that will leave tongues wagging - mostly because those tongues stick out from a victim's throat! Dig in, people!

Sawsgiving vol. 1 (w/ Stephen Sajdak) - Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

Sawsgiving vol. 1 (w/ Stephen Sajdak)

Released on 11/27/2020

Thank Jigsaw It’s Friday! Play a little game with us called #Sawsgiving and you’ll be in for a special surprise - the one, the only Stephen Sajdak of We Hate Movies! Together, we’re going to try to piece together the plot of a Saw sequel when we’ve only seen the first movie to begin with. Along the way, we talk slab peen, we try to define what makes a “parallel-a-sequel,” we debate how your Gymkata skills are hindered by having your mouth sewn shut, and we desperately try to tell one lunk of a detective from another. Of course, we play Choose Your Own Trap-venture, explore Saw’s connection to ECW, and demand to know the relationship between Donnie Walhberg and his dungeon rat friend! It’s a buffet of rusty green nonsense for the whole family. (Please do not listen to this with your family).
