Top-10 Horror Films of 2023: 18:03 

The Horror Dads are joined by their friends from Malden Street Films.  The idea of “Based On A True Story” in the Horror Genre has mixed opinions - some see it as a gimmick, some see it as an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the fear.  The group discusses the idea of “Based On A True Story” while discussing the Malden Street Product team's new film called How To Drag A Body which is currently wrapping up post-production, and is indeed, Based On A True Story.  Tune in to see what that story is, and why it’s so compelling.  The group also discusses other Horror Films that are supposedly based in fact.

The Horror Dads probe their way through a catalogue of 10 excellent Alien Horror Films.  Though some of these selections feel they may be from another planet, John and Jamie work to select a set of 10 eclectic films spanning across six different decades to represent a full breadth of styles. This sub-genre of horror is exciting to explore as the battle to save humanity can be a scary thing, and alien manifestation can come in many different forms. Tune in for some great discussion around these films, and a review of the different types of alien films that we as fans have come to know and love so well. 

The Horror Dads are joined by their new friend Tim Walsh, owner and operator of the respected horror apparel brand, Body Count Clothing. A key element of the Body Count brand is developing apparel concepts centered around the towns that we have all come to know and love in prominent horror franchises.  Tune in for an interview where Tim discusses his brand, his inspiration, his family, and weighs in on a group discussion about the best towns in the horror genre.

The Horror Dads are honored to be rejoined by artist, musician, friend, and fellow Horror Dad, Matty Ryan Tobin for the honorary 100th Episode.  Matty joins John and Jamie in the midst of the spooky season to discuss another set of Hidden Horror Gems.  The group digs deep and collects 9-films that live outside of the limelight, but that are still worth a watch.  This is the second edition of Hidden Horror Gems - listening to Part I is not necessary (but recommended, because it’s a great episode).
