Final Girls Feast

Sarah and Carrie are back after a bit of a hiatus, talking about the romantic horror comedy, Sorry About the Demon. We've got lots and lots and lots of cake. 

Sarah and Carrie are joined by Violet Burns to discuss Dachra, the 2018 Tunisian film with witchy cannibalism. There's bird head eating, grey meat, gristly meat - the food is not great, but we like the movie and the conversation is sparkling! 

Sarah and Carrie are talking Scream 2! (Check out our original Scream episode from last year). We've got Pepsi (lots of Pepsi), Jiffy pop callbacks, red solo cups, martini mixers, rebelliously eating in the living room, plates of undressed romaine, cafeteria food, and more! 

Sarah and Carrie have Brian Cartwright back for Feb's hat trick, plus Sarah's husband Matthew Stubbs! We continue our month of love and obsession with Trouble Every Day, the 2001 Claire Denis film of tragic cannibal couples. The discussion participants range from superfans to superhaters - either this film dilates your eyeballs or you hate Vincent Gallo, no in between. Then we talk about wine. 

Sarah and Carrie are joined again by Brian Cartwright to discuss Lucky McKee's 2002 film, May! We've got split sandwiches, subpar mac and cheese and Gatorade in wine glasses, cigarette obsession, light cannibalism, and more!

Sarah and Carrie continue the tradition of Miyazaki movies in January, this time discussing the adorable 2020 film. There's shepherd's pie, station pie, cupcakes and cookies, the best bread and cheese dinner, possibly purposefully burnt fried bread, and more! 

Sarah and Carrie go over our Top 5s of the year - tons of gastro horror, plus garden talk, Southern feasting, mad scientist pretzels, fantastic films, and a few discoveries. Happy New Year!
