The Amethyst CurseCurses are not nice and this curse was a particularly nasty one.It touched the lives of people quite randomly without any of them having been involved with the person who started the curse or doing him any harm. It is, in fact, quite vindictive. The curse ran over centuries and affected the lives of many people. This story traced the origins of the curse in Brazil hundreds of years ago from the time of the Spanish and Portuguese colonizing South America, to the present time when it was brought to a conclusion back in Brazil. Or so one should hope!It is a sad, but realistic story should such a curse ever exist. The story flows along from one victim to the next quite seamlessly, are all very different and entertaining and within the realms of reality. It is a quick read and the book consists of mini stories revealing the various 'victims' of the curse, making it suitable for occasional reading at odd moments in a busy day.Enjoy!
