Emerald Goodwill thought her life couldn't get any worse. She was living with a new foster family after two years of living on the street, just a few months shy of turning 18. Her foster mother and brother were driving her up a wall, her foster father was on her case about everything, and her best friend was struggling to raise her son. Until one day an uncle she didn't know she had finds her and tells her she's part of apart of a group of shifters. When tragedy strikes Emerald is forced into a world of danger where everyone she loves is either a target or an enemy. With a dark force threatening to take over, Emerald is the only one who can stop it, if she can make it out alive.
