One night, Aaron and Dana go swimming in a man-made lake that sits on an allegedly uninhabited property. They think it's strange that the entrance to the lake has two tall pillars that they have only seen before on graveyard gates. But it doesn't stop them from going in. They are never seen alive again. A year later, Todd Holloway, a struggling musician, moves into the house next to the man-made lake. Aside from an eerie feeling he gets from the property, it's his dream house. He jumps at the opportunity to buy it at a significantly reduced price. After Todd moves in, he begins to suffer from intense visions, vivid nightmares, and other strange occurrences. As things escalate, he discovers something incredibly shocking about the history of the house.
