When a prototype submarine mysteriously disappears, there is a slight chance that diver Mark Ashton may still be alive, having enough food, water, and oxygen to last him three months in the sub. The only clue to what could have happened is a large tooth. The M.E.E. hires a team of specialists to learn to operate a new sub and save Mark, one of which is world famous, paleontologist Daniel Lawrence. Daniel identifies the tooth as belonging to a prehistoric creature since thought to be extinct. Not only do they have the chance to save Mark, but they also have a shot at making it rich. Little do they know, terror is about to unfold...
