What is play to a cat, is death to a mouse...Sinta Talion is sent to Pennsylvania to broker a deal between Talion Enterprises and Madison Foods. She finds herself drawn to the quaint town and its charming people, but especially to the new Market Square Shoppes, and its bakery/coffee shop, Honey Bun. They serve the most deliciously dripping cinnamon rolls and decadent caramel macchiatos that Sinta has ever tasted. All is happy in “Yuppietopia”, until a mutilated body is found in the state park. This discovery is the first in a string of vicious and lethal cougar attacks. Sinta has an unfortunate encounter, which puts her business deal on very shaky ground. There is also a creepy man at her hotel who seems to be following her every move… he is watching her, stalking her…So now, she is being spied upon, the deal is in jeopardy and she must inform Father of the situation, and, oh yes, the cougar is still running rampant. Sinta must resolve the business dilemma, confront the stalker, escape a life and death situation…. All while staying out of the cougar’s lethal grasp. She is alone. She has no one to rely on but herself. She must prevail. But, how? Talion is the first book of the Talion trilogy. The series will take Sinta across the country, experiencing love and loss, business and children, danger and unconventional resolutions. Talion is at heart a gothic horror novel which contains graphic language, sexual situations and violent scenes, but also some romance and light comedy. It is intended for anyone who enjoys a story with an unexpected twist ending, easily as shocking as “Primal Fear” or any M. Knight Shyamalan movie.
