Dwano is an ocean-side community in Northern California built on a solid belt of granite. Dwano got its name by a demented mayor who could not pronounce the letter, "r." The city's intricate sewer and water system is like a roller coaster ride. Dwano's technology is strange. They now have cell phones (one per household.) They still have computers and of course, electric. Delbert Fudpucker is the town's only plumber. Delbert and his wife Sassifrass Frumple Fudpucker are madly in love. They regularly have unusual things happen to them. One of their favorite children is Katy Sue. She is now older and one of the Woods' many children. She keeps the secret locked in her heart of alien space travelers. Katy Sue cleans the Elliotting House. It is owned by the bank and Bonnie Buckhorn. This house in Dwano is reported to be haunted. A team of ghost hunters come to Dwano to investigate the huge house and bed and breakfast. They hope to prove the Elliotting House is haunted. Bigfoot hunters who previously stayed in the bed and breakfast found something that frightened them. What scared them was not a huge creature in the North Woods. It was something in the Elliotting house.
