Cherry Hill, a poor neighborhood in south Baltimore, is being targeted by an out-of-town drug gang. Baltimore police detective Adam Zuma is trying to keep the lid on things, but just when he thinks he's made some progress, members of the rival gang start to disappear under mysterious and bloody circumstances, raising the specter of a gang war that could have blood running in the streets. That, however, becomes the least of his worries when he's informed by witnesses that the agent of the disappearances is, of all things, a giant rat. Can he believe these eyewitnesses? Are they reliable? He decides to see for himself, then he begins to wonder if he can believe his own eyes.
