The Lost Swallow is a genealogical family history with a paranormal twist. The novel is a standalone book in which, along with the main characters, I have reintroduced a few of those from my first novel Therese. It is set it in the same locations of Bath and the fictional village of Feltham-over-Marsh. 1842 Somerset, England. Widowed Emma Connor and her two young daughters must make a new life for themselves in a squalid area of Victorian Bath. 2016 Somerset, England. Hannah Flynn, recently arrived from Australia with her husband, is researching her family history. She is particularly intrigued when she learns about the transportation to Van Diemen’s Land at the age of fifteen, of her three times great grandfather Ben Connor. When Hannah began the search for her ancestors she never expected an encounter with someone from that long ago past who looks to her for help to find The lost Swallow.
