Undead at Groom Lake: A Novella about the Dead Walking

Damien arrives at Lincoln County University, in Rachel, Nevada for football tryouts, before fall classes begin. From his first night in his dorm room, he hears moans on the wind coming from the desert surrounding Nellis Air Force Range. Over the next few days the other athletes start getting sick and disappearing, followed by his friends: Keith, Todd and Madi. The military and Centre for Disease Control quarantine the campus and the Town of Rachel. Damien wakes up in a morgue; thought to have contracted Virus Z, and left for dead. He’s alone in a zombie infested underground complex near Groom Lake, and Area 51; where, he must find his friends, and fight his way out. About the Author

R.G. Johnston wanted to write books for as long as he's been reading them.In 2007, he self-published his first book, with two more to follow in 2011 and 2014; he typesets, designs his book covers and works directly with his printer. He's taught workshops about the self-publishing process to audiences and writer's groups; he's consulted individual writers on self-publishing and promoting their works.Robert enjoys visiting markets and fairs throughout the area, to promote and sell his books.
