The story is set towards the end of the Civil War (The year is 1864) and some strange incident makes the dead rise and attack the living and at this backwoods fort it gets attacked by the undead and during the fighting the Union troops take in Confederates soldiers and they band together and they put their personal feelings aside and fight to together to say alive.
