This book is a story of how a young man in his quest for instant wealth joined a secret society. He did unspeakable things to get the wealth. He eventually got it, but nemesis did not allow him to live.From childhood, Chimezie showed the penchant for a life of luxury. Born by poor parents, but he tried to live like a rich man's son. Plus, he had eyes for women. At secondary school, he enjoyed life, but it was at the expense of good grades. Soon after school, he acquired a skill as a shoemaker, and he was very successful in the enterprise, but his income could not afford him the level of luxury he wished for himself. Driven by greed and discontent, he was on the lookout for a shortcut to instant wealth. Then he came across an old friend who had become very wealthy: the friend showed him the way to instant wealth,. But it was a way that every sane man fears to tread on. Notwithstanding, Chimezie embraced the opportunity for quick money. He did what he had to do to get the wealth. Yes, he got it! But while life appeared most friendly to him, nemesis came calling.There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end is destruction.
