The Witches of Waverly The Kept Promise is an experience with something for every reader; romance, intrigue, corruption, mystery, murder, ghosts and a lovely canine by the name of Patches. The story is a little slow to start because it takes time to introduce the characters, but good things come to those who wait, once everything is in place the story line races like a car using moonshine for its fuel. The unexpected turns, the humorous situations and real-life issues make this novel worth the price. The characters are very well developed which pulls the reader into the life in Johnson County, Kentucky and a small town called Frey. This book has the bones which make a book series great. The second book in the series, Third Time's Charm will be released in Oct. 2017.
