In the bustling city of Lemon Bay, New Hampshire, Serena McCaffrey is a cable repair technician with a seemingly typical life. That all changes when her longtime boyfriend hesitantly informs her that Vole Gates, the murderous, psychopathic serial killer they helped send to prison and put on death row three years earlier, has violently escaped a prison transport and may be out to pick up where he left off. The fretful couple then devises a plan to leave the area the next day. In the meantime, Serena must complete a final day of work that concludes with a visit to the Dorri home, a dysfunctional household plagued with its own major domestic problems. The monstrous source of Serena's fear soon manifests and forces the trapped group of potential victims to fight for their lives in the dead of night.

About the Author

Serving as the founder and executive producer of Crazy Owl Films, Bill Freas has brought a number of major film and television projects to the big and small screens. As a screenwriter and producer, he currently has various film and television projects set up with several international production companies, including Vancouver's Foresight Entertainment, Inc., with whom he has an active production partnership that has already generated several successful projects. Bill is also the author of works of short fiction published by domestic literary entities, and he has enjoyed tenure as a professional musician, composer, and arranger, setting up his company's music division, Crazy Owl Entertainment, in 2014.
