Cassie Walker is a young, emotionally repressed author, struggling with her identity and writer's block, in Atlanta, Georgia. She's been going through the motions without a sense of direction. Her neatly boxed way of life is about to be turned upside down as she is drawn to make a change that will not only redefine her identity but forever alter her view of the world around her. Packing her belongings and moving to the small town of Raven Wood, she finds herself immersed in intrigue. Becoming tormented by the spirits of two women, her would-be peaceful existence quickly takes a turn for the macabre. Is she being led by these spirits to solve a murder, or is she being targeted by the living? Either way, strange things are happening in this seemingly ideal small town, filled with eccentric characters, revealing a darker side beneath the Norman Rockwell exterior. Between the handsome sheriff and the rugged handyman she hires to help with repairs, more than the summer air is steamy in Raven Wood, where the paranormal, intrigue, and romance all come together.
