In this series of poems, I have focused on the ‘otherworldly’. The reason I chose to develop poems of this nature was to explore that interesting element that drives Humanity to display the best and worst of itself. Imagination is a special quality that is often overlooked, or not considered as seriously as it should be. Imagination can create hopes and dreams or fears. It can inspire us to transcend the ‘normal’ limits of our corporeal forms. Yet, the methods we use are not always safe! Some may express their imagination with their bodies such as through dance. Others will create music or works of art. Yet, others will use their imagination within the field of science. However, just as music can touch the soul, so can the written word!
