When a near-fatal accident separates a single father from his daughter, fate has a way of finding her a good home. About the Author

Michael Allen grew up moving back and forth between Maryland and Virginia. The Rappahannock River runs through Fredericksburg, Virginia, one of the greatest places in the world to him. That's why it was chosen as the setting of this wonderful book about a father and a daughter who are trying to find each other. It's perfect because every time Michael Allen goes back home to Fredericksburg, he finds himself again.
