Geoff Hill grew up in the Cotswolds and trained as a teacher in Aberystwyth, before settling in Wiltshire and teaching at a number of schools. He wrote Draugr for his 2015 class while they were studying the Vikings. He lives near Bath with his wife and son and Millie the cat.
