This is where it all begins. Approximately 6000 years ago, in the Quercy region of what is now called France, on the banks of the Lot River, a series of unimaginable, yet linked events leads to the creation of the First Vampire. A carefree young man, who due to no fault of his own, becomes the first of his kind. He becomes the father and creator of an entire new species, a species that would be known as vampires. The arrival of the first vampire had already been foretold through the ages; an ancient prophecy that had existed since the birth of man-kind. It was a prophecy that even gave a name to the chosen one - the Necromantis (the eater of death). He was one who would be called Ambrose. Follow his journey as he struggles to adapt to his new life, as well as the changes that he must make in adjusting to his new form, and the affect that it has on his family, those around him, and eventually, the world....
