The Chronicles of Jolie Part three: Sonnie may have Alzheimers

When their friend Emma notices behaviour that could indicate dementia, she goes into the gruesome detail of this dreadful deadly disease. All of this comes back to haunt Jolie the same night. You will know about all issues concerning Alzheimer’s at the end of the book and you will have learnt about them in a light-hearted, entertaining manner. This book is a real treat for all adventure- and action movie fans. The author describes everything in graphical detail letting you experience the whole story together with Jolie. Alzheimer’s certainly is no laughing matter. It is a horrible neurodegenerative disease. That doesn’t mean that reading about it must be depressing too. Understanding the overwhelming number of factors that are bad and distinguishing them from the good ones can be very difficult. Even more frustrating is that some can be good or bad if there are too many or too few of them. Join Jolie on the front seat. In your mind you will experience the many dangerous processes happening in the brain. The descriptions keep it very real. You will be her co-pilot from beginning to end. The author writes this action story partially to entertain and equally to explain in a playful manner what the problem is and what everybody who doesn’t show any symptoms yet can do about it as age is the biggest risk factor. The disease Alzheimer doesn’t break out like a wild fire. Similarly it cannot just be extinguished like a fire. Even extinguishing a fire can take a long time; it sadly happens and keeps on claiming lives each year. There are naïve views about dementia. Many people of every age (!) believe they must be immune to it for one or the other reason. Others believe they are bound to get it because some close relative suffered from it. If you like action stories, you will like the Chronicles of Jolie. Jolie is doomed to explore the war zone of a brain suffering from Alzheimer. Follow Jolie, be there right with her in the world she finds herself in which is Sonnie`s brain. There are beings that behave like glue, others suck blood and some cells are dead but still active. When you read Jolie being confronted with vampires, zombies and evil henchmen, all behaving in their own evil way, then you might think they are just fantasy, unreal beings but they do have a real background. The story is fiction but most of the characters are not. In Jolie`s dream they are somewhat bigger and more cunning….find out whether that makes them more or less scary…
