This was stunningly, beautifully executed, effed up twists and all.One thing that initially put me off, but that I ended up truly loving, was the invented language of Atriia. It was disconcerting at first, but as the story progressed, the language became second nature for the reader just as it did for Christine. I personally think that this was a brilliant move on the author's part, because it really helped to not only immerse you into the world of Atriia, but also helped connect with Christine as she struggled to learn the language and adapt to the differences between Atriia and our world. ―The Romanceaholic Fawn Bonning's, The Heart of Hannen, is a marvelous and intricate tale that is deep and rich with imagery. Her characters are living, breathing people, heroes and villains alike, and her story is original and highly creative. ―Jack Magnus for Readers' Favorite OMFG!!! This book was very intense. ―Escaping Reality Within Pages The tale is twisted and dark, even a little horrific at times, bringing together a perfect mesh of storytelling that is just downright magical. ―AngelsCryHavoc Holy Fraigens!
