Return to earth and work as a demon, encouraging humans to make the same mistakes he did, and therefore sealing their fates in the eternal fires of hell. In return he would earn a rest from the suffering he was enduring in hell until the end of days. It didn’t seem like much of a choice for Simon, and so he took it, respite for a time was most welcome. On earth he finds himself under the command of Nocte Servo, a twisted, insane demon with a burning hatred of mankind, and a secret agenda of his own. One day a chance encounter with a beautiful woman and an impossible meeting with a love from his human past bring the realities of earth, heaven, and hell to a head, threatening to destroy his new found peace. Simon finds himself in an impossible situation with no logical solution, and faces the choice of keeping silent and avoiding Nocte Servo’s wrath or doing the right thing and returning to the fires and tortures of hell. Will Simon risk everything in order to do the right thing? Demons and Men is the first instalment in a series of novels about the Under Demon Simon Lock.
