This fantasy takes readers to the world of the red moon; a planet forty thousand light years from earth that supports many life forms including an intelligent winged alien species and a giant winged species of reptiles or dragons. The intelligent alien winged species has survived for centuries using simple stone age technology and they call themselves klutes. When a pneumonia pandemic begins spreading throughout the delta Arak and his young winged friends take to the skies with their crossbows to battle sivilin (dragons) that are coming out of the Desowan wasteland in numbers never before recorded in any of the klute scrolls or archives. The sivilin have already caused mass extinctions of animals to the north and east of the delta and one of the behemoth flying reptiles has even landed and killed in the Sagitarian colony itself. The actual existence of the klute race is suddenly in double jeopardy.
