Collection of horror stories set in a black rural community in Central Texas that covers over a century in the life of a family and a community from slavery to the twentieth century. This book contains the complete collection of Chapel Hill; Stories From the Graveyard, two of which are already published on Kindle in different versions, along with a one-act play and the full-length novella at the end of the book. Several stories, the play, and the novella contain graphic violence and sexual content and are not suited for children. There is also an afterword in the author's journalistic voice talking about the "community" that was the real life Mud Creek where she was born and grew up, as well also excerpts from the author using a variety of heteronyms and a list of some of her books available here and elsewhere. Parental discretion advised.
