Alex Agunas is a Southern California Native American. His heritage is Spanish mixed with Tongva and Serrano, the tribes who historically inhabited the Los Angeles Basin, San Gabriel Valley, and local mountain ranges. Alex is an engineering student at Pomona College. There have always been stories of ghosts and haunted places there, but he is skeptical and believes in science and technology, no matter what his elders would say. However, things begin to happen that he has no explanation. Forced to re-define his belief system, Alex reaches out to his elders and some paranormal researchers for answers. What he finds leads him on a journey to Northern Arizona and the Hopi Reservation, where he learns about their traditions and time travel, but in a way he never thought possible. This book is a screenplay adaptation of the original work of science fiction and young adult horror, with actual places and historical events and areas interwoven through the story. The goal was to provide a template for collaboration with filmmakers who are interested in this story.
