The collection of stories here are original myths that weave in Puranic gods in our modern life. The introduction questions what makes Indians Indian. It is an opinion, amongst many, and based on this I have re-imagined modern myths of Indian gods. These stories are educational as well as thought provoking. They have many slokas from the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Puranas and other wisdom texts. They also have a deeper message. They show that gods are helpers in man’s evolutionary journey. If the human field can be looked upon the gods’ karma kshetra, humans become instruments of higher powers. An individual’s life then takes on a new meaning in the grand scheme of things.
