In this week's episode, we're taking a much-needed break but wanted to leave you with a classic: our review of the 2019 Glenn Danzig-written/directed/produced anthology film (film?) "Verotika." Dudes, it's 420! We're celebrating by hanging with our friend Perry and discussing his pick, the 2018 sci-fi horror film "Annihilation." In the grand tradition of Werewolf Ambulance, though, it was not quite the movie he remembered. This is what they get for not letting me watch "Bong of the Dead," seriously! Special topics for your consideration include: wondering whether this movie is a metaphor for drugs or just sadness, exhaustion as a character choice, dealing with the consequences of not knowing a thing, and of course, weed.

In this week's episode, we're discussing the 2020 supernatural horror film "The Dark and the Wicked," aka "An Extremely Allen Movie." Special topics for your consideration include: two very different schools of thought when it comes to handling one's emotions, chasing that old scare dragon, the hardness of farm folk (particularly compared to how baby-soft we are), and a delightfully Pittsburgh voicemail.

In this week's episode, we're discussing the brand new 2023 independent film "Skinamarink." Special topics for your consideration include: um, you know, saying some stuff...about stuff? Talking about corners, walls, ceilings, and the feet of children, trying to get a foothold in someone else's nightmare, and a very weird personalized license plate. 

We've done a couple avant garde/arthouse style horror movies in the past. May we suggest Episode 115- "Hausu," Episode 194- "Santa Sangre," or Episode 240- "Mandy"? Also, does everything Lucio Fulci ever made count? If so, boy have we done a lot of those.

In this week's episode, we're discussing the 1987 supernatural (?) educational (??) erotic (???) film "A Chinese Ghost Story." Normally I'd write some jokes here and compare it to other movies we've covered, but frankly the Super Bowl made me get too tore up to do all that. Totally not my fault obviously. You'll like this movie though, it's pretty goddamn fantastic.

In this week's episode, we're exploring the world of fine dining and luxurious food with the 2022 film "The Menu." Special topics for your consideration include: a gift from a listener sparks food joy for us, being open to John Leguizamo, gatekeeping of hobbies, the good old days of smoking in restaurants, red flags in a potential partner, and chocolate hats, THE CHOCOLATE HATS!
