Thirteen years ago, I began the tradition of the FRIDAY THE 13th SPECTACULAR where I set out to discuss the FRIDAY THE 13th series in a way I hadn't heard before.

Now, I'm thirteen years older.

I'm thirteen years wiser.

It's time to go back to where it all started.

I'm going back to Camp Crystal Lake.

But this time...I'm not going alone.

Following the tradition of the past few years, I let you, the listeners, decide what holiday horror movie I covered in December.

The winner by a landslide was BLACK XMAS (2006).

A houseful of sorority sisters are about to wish they went home for Christmas break, because serial killer Billy Lenz just escaped from the mental hospital, and he doesn't care if they've been naughty or nice.

This controversial remake of the 1974 classic caused rifts in the horror community, but whether you love it or hate it, you're gonna have a great time listening, because my very special guests are CINDY KINNARD-DIAMOND and STACY PARKER from CREEPY KITCH.

Three young Evangelical movie users find a strange unmarked roll of film in the theater's basement. Thinking it might be porn, they screen the movie and accidentally unleash a bloodthirsty succubus. But in order to survive, they must not only conquer the demon they released but also the demons they hide within themselves.

Despite the provocative title, PORNO (2019) isn't really about explicit nudity, sex and exploitation. At its core, it's a surprisingly thoughtful morality play about faith and what happens when that faith is put to the ultimate test.

Fortunately, WILLIAM SHATNER, TAMMY GRIMES, CHUCK CONNERS and BUDDY EPSEN are on hand, because in times of emergency, it's always best to have actors committed to chewing the scenery, freaking out and going full Lord of the Flies in a confined space with pressurized oxygen.
