Dan has two fantastic tales this week but Lynze's stories seem to be the one's that really give the chills this week. Dan tells the story of a tired, over worked cab driver in Vera Cruz. At the end of his shift, all he wants to do is go home and go to bed. A beautiful woman begs for a ride home and he is so captivated that he drives her home. When he returns the next day to take her on a date, he is shocked to learn that she has been dead for many, many years.  Continuing with the theme of seeing weird things while driving, Dan takes us to Scotland to visit one of the most haunted roads. Two brothers encounter so many bizarre things, so many spirits that it would seem impossible to not be real. Lynze, unintentionally, starts off her half of the show with another tale of seeing bizarre and scary things while driving at night, her first tale is a 2 for 1 special about the Smiling Man. While driving through their small town, the see the Smiling Man not once, but twice. Wrapping up the show is an insane story about a shape shifting doppelgänger. It's a long story that bobs and weaves. Pay close attention and enjoy your nightmares, creeps and peepers.

Bad Magic Third Annual Giving Tree Info:

This year marks the 3rd annual Bad Magic Giving Tree! Over the last 3 years, we have taken what would be the monthly donation for a charity and kept it in our Bad Magic family.The first year, we only had the donation money.Then last year, the fans wanted to help. We ask that you be honest. And we ask that only those with kids reach out. We are happy to keep your names anonymous from the community and it is entirely your choice if you want to post about your gifts. Of course, we cannot accommodate everyone but we will do our best to help as many people as we can. We cannot pay your cell phone bill or your utility bill but we can send things you might need like diapers and socks and some things your kiddos might want, like new toys.If you and your family are need of help this holiday season, please email us at [email protected] .We will gather all of the names, literally put them in a hat and pick at random. We don’t think it’s fair for us to choose who should be on the receiving end of this gift.  We are accepting nominations from now until TODAY, NOVEMBER 16TH. We will be sharing updates as we have them, on how much money we have and how many families we think we can help!

This weeks episode has a strong theme of seeing things you just aren't sure of! We have so much non spoopy info to share with you  that we will keep this part short! Dan shares the folklore of the "hidebehind", something that is hiding in the woods! Then off to the Philippines  for  haunting of the elementals. It's a bizarre story with a surprise ending! Lynze has some info to share about the spirit in their house, followed by two fan tales. The first comes in  from Colorado (she misspoke in the episode and said Texas) from a LEO about being called into a domestic dispute that is anything but that. Then story two will have you wondering what exactly is crawling into bed with you at night. Don't be surprised if it's not your beloved pet.

"You don’t want to be with me,” Kris replied, her voice gravely and low. Laurie realized that there was still laughter— a different, high-pitched laughter, at the same time as Kris was speaking. “You want to be with them. You hate me.”
“I don’t hate you,” she begged, trying not to let her legs give out. She felt like the dolls were closing in on her, could even feel the brush of cloth against her ankles, like they were beginning to surround her. She was about to become hysterical."

Dan brings it this week with two incredible stories! The first story is a tale of a couple who decide that, due to the pandemic, they are going to move out of their busy city and out to the mountains of Montana. It all sounds so sweet, almost dream like! The dream of making an old house their new home quickly goes sideways when a room of dolls is discovered. From the moment the dolls are found, everything changes. A possession in the Philippines is Dan's second story. It's a sad story, the story of a young girl living a hard life. Her hard life grows harder when she is incarcerated and then possessed. The ending of this story though, is a real head scratcher. Lynze admits that this weeks stories are a bit less spoopy than usual, she's starting to crack up a little bit. Her first story will take us to the World's Fair in St. Louis in 1904 where an abandoned baby goes on to lead a very interesting life and is possibly still quite interesting in death. Then, a chance encounter with the beast of Bray Rd. Two friends set out to cruise around and enjoy a few beers. When one of them needs to answer natures call, a horrific scene unfolds. Then, to end the show, a protective Grandpa makes a return visit to make sure his granddaughter remains safe.

Dan kicks off the show with a classic tale most of you will know. The Hull House! This is the inspiration for Rosemary's Baby, a horror movie classic! Then story number two of this Halloween themed episode, Dan takes us to Columbia to visit the haunted falls of Tequendama. "I guess it’s time isn’t it?” Mitchell was about to answer them when from behind he heard his own voice reply, “I guess it is." Mitchell spun around to see himself at the top of the stairs and he screamed. He ran down the rest of the stairs as his parents and the Other ran towards him."

Dan and Lynze are getting us ready for Halloween with a Halloween centric episode! Expect this episode and the following episode to have Halloween themes and overtones. Dan's first story is about a son, returning home to see his parents. Except his parents are different now, not quite themselves. Are they themselves or are they the other? In his second tale, a young girl has an imaginary friend who turns out to be anything but imaginary and is for sure, not a friend. Lynze presents the tale of three friends who tromp through an old, haunted dorm. They get out alive. Or do they? This is a tale of the taboo. Then in her second spoopy story, Lynze has a fast little story about two sisters who most definitely see a spirit in their house after a night of trick-or-treating!

"Then he heard it. Ever so faintly, but very distinct. The sound of a baby crying. And more unsettling, Bill felt there was something else going on. He strongly felt that that he wasn’t alone in his room."

Dan has an old tale of the Hayden Family. Did one member of their family curse them for all time? Would you believe it if it came to fruition? Then Dan takes us to Malaysia for the folklore tale of the oily man. Is he a human man, hiding behind the folklore or is it an incorrigible incubus, seeking out women to fulfill its needs. And then Dan gives us a little treat with a third tale about the very haunted Skirvin Hotel.

The Attachment from the Green House, is Lynze's first tale today. Could ghost or spirit start to follow you at a young age and in time, slowly reveal itself? Listener tale number one explores a lifetime haunting that is seemingly building up to something. Listener tale two is about a haunted house that seems to contain two different spirits. Perhaps one good and one evil?

Dan has seriously creepy tales this week, guaranteed to spook even the bravest of Creeps. Tale one contains TW, please proceed with caution as this tale is explicit. A young woman left to fend for herself is unable to handle all of the tragedy bestowed upon her. When she completes suicide, her spirit remains unsatisfied. Has she come back to the scene of her death to collect more souls? The second story is that of The Berini Haunting. A family experiences a long series of paranormal events that seem to precede real life tragedy. When an exorcism is preformed, what is the end result? Lynze starts with a long tale of the White Woman, who has followed someone for all of their life. Is it possible to bring your attachment with you, everywhere you go, for you whole life? A second story that is short tale feels like a brief sighting of a spirit, possibly disguised as her partner.

This year, I’ll be telling three stories that have all taken place on Halloween night!

The first takes place at a Halloween party in 1973, where the scariest guest at the party is not someone wearing a costume.

The second story is set in 1985, when two extra spooky trick or treaters show up at someone’s door.

And the third is the Legend of Murder Creek.

On Halloween night, 1890, just outside of the little town of Akron, New York, a very troubled seventeen year old, Sadie McMullen, throws two little girls off a railroad bridge and into a small brook that will now be known as Murder Creek.

The nine year old dies and ever since, the angry, vengeful spirit of little “Nellie” Connor is rumored to show herself late on Halloween night.

And Lynze, of course, will be sharing more fantastic fan submitted horror. So many spoops!

"He stared down at himself with the same horrified expression. I knew right away he saw it too. As I opened my mouth to say something, he screamed. His feet fell out from under him, and I screamed too as his head hit the edge of the bridge, as I watched him seemingly get pulled straight down into the river."

In Great Falls, Montana, some police officers are among those who believe that one of their jail cells is haunted. The Old Cascade County Jail was built in the early 1900s, directly across the street from the west face of the courthouse. Bob Edwards, a Cascade County Sheriff , claims he saw a strange mist floating through through the old cells on a video monitor. It spooked him. And to this day, he has no explanation for it.

According to local legend, she was believed to dabble in witchcraft. Or at least that’s what she was accused of. One night, some scared local townspeople decided to form a vigilante lynch mob, and take what they considered to be justice into their own hands. They decided to kill who they believed to be a heretic. And when they made it to her house that night, they grabbed the poor woman, and they hanged her from a tree directly in front of her her home. According to legend, in her last moments, she cursed the house and the surrounding land and still haunts the area today.

Summer Camp should be a fun time to hang out with your friends and enjoy your freedom from your parents. It shouldn't be a place that you and your friends find themselves terrified of what comes in the night. In story one, Lynze walks us through a very bizarre summer camp story. After that, she has two more tales, both about haunted houses. The first house appears to very angry when the new owners begin to renovate. It's a classic haunted tale! The second haunted house comes with a big twist at the end, so stay tuned for the most chilling details!
