Episode 45: Gin Makes My Panties Fall Off

It's a Red Christmas this week as the crew talk about Craig Anderson's seasonal horror flick that tackles some heavier topics that one might first expect. Scott and Robin then talk about Somebody's Darling and the Arrow Video release of Erik the Conqueror. Rigby regales us with tales of Indonesian action flick Headshot and details how The Evil Within 2 is a vast improvement over the original. The crew also talk about some new information that's come out regarding Tarantino's "Manson movie", the unfortunate release date assigned to the newest Masters of the Universe live action adaptation, whether or not different types of alcohol give you a different drunk, blind loyalty to a terrible restaurant chain, the newly announced Deadbeat at Dawn remaster and much more. The episode is finished off by some Christmas themed cryptid talk and a round of Holiday Hog (the shiny and new seasonal version of Whole Hog) in which gingerbread dicks are discussed.

This episode the crew sat down with newly released "zom-com" Dead Shack, a movie about that all too familiar situation where you go out to drink and relax in the woods with your family only to discover your neighbor is up to some weird, zombie based shenanigans that threaten your good time. The crew also talks about Thor Ragnarok and how a twelve year old is more mature than all of them, Rigby details her disappointment with the new Netflix Punisher series and then the crew veer down a nostalgic path to talk about Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. The crew also sample some questionable snack foods and soda, talk sausage roll baby Jesus, puppet based horror movie Frank & Zed, Rigby's video game streaming, self-decapitation by chainsaw and absurd statements from Canadian politicians about the dangers of marijuana. The episode is rounded out with some Whole Hog featuring Ed Harris and Tommy Wissou.

We're back in the water for a slightly out of season, recently released shark attack movie, Open Water 3: Cage Dive this week, while Scott apologizes to the crew for submitting them to the newest season of American Horror Story. The crew also discuss the EA Star Wars Battlefront controversy that took the internet by storm this week, possible Criterion Collection releases for the original Toho Godzilla films, the dangers of trusting an algorithm to make your decisions for you, getting various things stuck in your various holes, bedbugs in the cinema and cannabis advent calendars. The episode is rounded out as always with some very Crappy Cryptids and a thoughtful discussion of Crispin Glover's hog.

Japanese snacks are also taste tested in this episode and Rigby recounts meeting alien hunter turned dad rocker David Duchovny. The crew also talk drunken bumper cars, where they sit on the schlock scale, Corey Feldman's Friday the 13th script, Â shape-shifters revealing themselves to rock stars, the disappointment that is American Horror Story: Cult and a bunch of genre news.
High Literature Episode 2: Creepypasta and Purple Voodoo

Episode 40: Two Trucker Hats and a Baby

The crew gathered this week to watch a movie that feels like it was ripped straight from the heart of the '90s horror scene, Happy Death Day. Guitars are also strapped on and turned way up for The Devil's Candy, a satanic possession movie with a hint of heavy metal. This week's episode of American Horror Story: Cult is also discussed, along with learning ninja skills from Naruto, the Halloween reboot, "insensitive" Halloween costumes and the legality of drunken canoeing in Canada. The crew also bring their A game to some Crappy Cryptids as well as a monstrous round of Whole Hog.
Episode 39: Rib Breaker High

Flatliners is first up this week, an unrequested remake of the 1990 horror film about a med student who discovers how to cross over to the afterlife, which of course leads to all sorts of unforeseen problems. Scott and Robin saw Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049 this week and share their thoughts on it as well as discuss holo threesomes, drunken time travel, penis collections, possible Paranormal Activity remakes and  Netflix's Punisher getting delayed. The crew also discuss the newest episode of American Horror Story: Cult and that nail gun scene, plus talk Crappy Cryptids and what some monsters are packing in Whole Hog.
