The third day of October and it's time to visit another haunted house. This weeks episode finds out intrepid crew braving the horror offerings of Netflix, settling on 2016 prank gone wrong flick "Don't Hang Up." They also strapped themselves in, forced their eyelids open and took in the first episode of "American Horror Story: Apocolypse and boy, what a horror it was. Reports of the Gray Man, nocturnal nursery rhymes, an update on the New Mexico observatory closures, squirrel kings and more are discussed with a round of Whole Hog featuring a man in fake hands and a man in metal underwear to wrap things up.

What do evil nuns, retrosynth drenched summers in the '80s and superheroes that may or may not be Michael Madsen have in common? They all punished the crew in some form or another this week. First up is The Nun, the latest entry into the Conjuring universe, followed by Fright Night meets true crime throwback flick Summer of '84. After all the dust has settled, Robin and Scott have a sad tale to tell of being bamboozled by promises of Michael Madsen super heroics in Assassins Revenge. They also discuss the perfect ham based crime, if the US government is closing observatories for sinister reasons, the Candyman remake, stolen wigs and more. The episode is finished off with a round of Whole Hog in which a man who fights zombies and a man who fights space zombies go toe to toe.
