This weeks episode we party hardy (kids say this still right?) and talk about a summer slasher throwback new to Shudder "Party Hard, Die Young" before hitting up the swampy Everglades and fighting off giant land-based eels in an older flick fished out of the $1 movie bin at a horror convention "Razortooth." Get ready to head down into a robot filled post-apocolyptic bunker and bust out your best high kick this week as we talk about "I Am Mother" and "Triple Threat". New from Netflix, "I Am Mother" takes us to a future where humankind has been all but wiped out and a robot is tasked with rebirthing the human species, but things don't always work out like planned right? "Triple Threat" meanwhile drops any of the deep thinks and thoughts the robot movie may have provoked, instead presenting a whole load of kicking, shooting, ridiculous set pieces and all sorts of action movie nonsense we all love.

This week Robin and Scott bask in all things giant! First up is a new addition to the Shudder streaming service by the name of "Boar", which take Bill Moseley and the biggest baldest human you've ever seen to the Australian outback to battle a gigantic swine to the death. After that it's another battle to the death of gigantic proportions with "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" which features more kiaju (ahem, Titans. Sorry) than you can shake your giant spiny tail at. The episode is finished up with some bizarre news featuring stories of opening airplane emergency exits while in a poo panic, a scummy dude from a scummy metal band continuing to make poor choices, tv show announcements that might be jumping the gun and some local cryptid action!

This week Scott and Robin take a trip back in time to the 1950's with nunsploitation but not really at all flick St. Agatha, a movie that takes you on a journey but probably not the one you thought it would be. After that they share their thoughts on the newest Netflix original horror movie The Perfection, a twisty turny trashy film that has a lot going for it. After that they dive into the news hole with the continuing trials and tribulations of the woman who married a ghost pirate, Iron Maiden getting greedy, the Walking Dead potentially leaving Georgia behind and news on the long gestating Spawn project no one really asked for.

This week Robin and Scott dig into the new Shudder film The Nightshifter, a Brazillian horror that finds a morgue worker with the ability to speak with the dead in a bad situation after abusing his abilities. Things start weird and only get more bizarre as the movie plays out, so basically the standard for Brazillian horror. After that it's time to keep driving into the eye of the bizarre hurricane that's been unleashed with news about dinosaur reproductive habits, Dennis Rodman, accidental screenings that probably scarred some children for life and more.

Things take a very strange turn this week as Scott and Robin dive into some greasy flicks of yesteryear. First up is Takashi Miike's bizarre yakuza film Dead or Alive, which is one of the wildest movies we've ever covered that still maintains a plot line. After that it's on to a bit of a forgotten '80s haunted house/possession film by the name of Scared Stiff, which was recently remastered and released by Arrow. The train keeps rolling down the line well into the bizarre news segment featuring stories of poo socks, witch owls, coked up shrimp and what happens when you decide to let a stuffed animal represent you in a court of law.

Grab your space suit and a can of Raid because we're headed to Mars to check out Takashi Miike's live-action adaptation of the manga Terra Formars, a wild ride of a midnight movie that could have only come from his mind. After that it's time to go down that road (you know the one) and check out the 2019 remake of Pet Semetary from the guys who gave us Starry Eyes. We're coming in hot with the weird news load as usual, with stories of real life Battle Royale's, black metal being black metal, the terrible lose of a massive porn collection, and some light cannibalism in the Maritimes.
