On this new installment of Death By DVD a discussion on Paul Schrader's 1988 film Patty Hearst is begun, as well as a look into 1970s politics and the wild beginnings of the Symbionese Liberation Army, a 1970s radical group that would inspire the works of Stephen King and change the world for a brief moment before being lost into pop culture and time. 

This episode takes us back to the "good ol days" of Death By DVD, a fan favorite from the live broadcast era! PHILOSOPHY OF THE DEAD! This is where we take the work of a specific artist and examine the message of their overall work, as well as providing a thesis of sorts for said philosophy. In those twelve years we have managed to repeat ourselves a lot. Apparently, every 4 years we manage to review Deep Red and guess what day it is? New Years Day.
