Tonight, Spring Heeled Jack takes you on a journey across more than three millennia as we investigate history's greatest lost treasures. From the biblical mysteries of the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail, and the Spear of Longinus, to the vanished wealth of the Knights Templar, King John's lost Crown Jewels, El Dorado, the Flor de la Mar, Montezuma's treasure, the Merchant Royal, the Treasure of Lima, the Lost Dutchman's Mine, the Irish Crown Jewels, the Amber Room, the Confederate Treasure, Yamashita's Gold, the legendary Nazi Gold Train, Oak Island, and finally the enduring mystery of the Grand Canyon's alleged hidden treasure chamber.

Some of these treasures almost certainly existed.

Others may exist only in legend.

But every one of them has inspired generations of explorers, treasure hunters, historians, and dreamers to ask the same question...

This episode breaks down how and why the Bermuda Triangle myth was created, how real events were reshaped over time, and why busy shipping routes, weather systems, ocean currents, human decision-making, and simple math explain far more than any supernatural force ever could.

Along the way, Spring Heeled Jack offers his own theory—one that may take the wind out of a few sails, but still leaves the ocean just as dangerous, indifferent, and fascinating as it’s always been.

Tonight marks the end of the Anthology of Horror Halloween Special — thirty-one consecutive nights of darkness, madness, and beautifully unhinged storytelling. For the grand finale, host Spring Heeled Jack closes the season by turning the mic over to the listeners themselves. The night’s stories come straight from the audience: true confessions, eerie encounters, cursed objects, and the strange, sometimes funny, sometimes terrifying things people swear have happened to them after midnight. Some are believable, some aren’t — but all of them are haunted in their own way.

Tonight, Anthology of Horror resurrects one of America’s most enduring ghost stories — The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Originally written by Washington Irving, this timeless tale of superstition, ambition, and fear has been adapted and rewritten by Spring Heeled Jack for modern audiences.

Set in the mist-shrouded valley of Sleepy Hollow, the story follows Ichabod Crane, an ambitious schoolmaster whose vanity and greed draw him into the heart of the Hollow’s oldest legend — the haunting of the Headless Horseman. Through fear and folly, Ichabod learns that some ghosts are born not from the grave, but from the darkness of the human heart.

Like the legend itself, this episode bridges the old and the new — weaving classical horror with modern sound design and original scoring to create an immersive, cinematic experience.
