In 1951, 67-year-old Mary Reeser moved down from Columbia, Pennsylvania to Florida to be closer to her son and grandchildren.

Five weeks later, Mary was dead; killed in the most horrifying and bizarre circumstances that continue to confound to this day.

In the late 1940s, Italian sculptor Amilcare Santini was commissioned to make a statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to use as a model for mass production. 

Little did he know, that it would become just about the most famous depiction of the Immaculate Heart ever created.
