It is often said by medical professionals that medicine is not an exact science.

Despite the incredible wealth of knowledge we have, as many of us perhaps know better than ever before thanks to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, trying to identify what may or may not be a symptom of a specific illness is never a simple task.  

Sometimes despite our best efforts, we don't always reach a satisfying answer...

That people have lived on the land we know today as Guernsey, at least as far back as 4000 BCE, is evidenced by the many incredible relics there that date back to that time.

Most prominently the many dolmen that can be found all over the island. 

Some say they are valuable artifacts to be studied and learnt from. Others say they should be left well alone...

When asked once what inspired her novel, The Woman in Black, Susan Hill replied that her chief ingredient was atmosphere, which I think sums it up perfectly.

Some have suggested she might also have found inspiration from a little-known haunting, said to have taken place in Cheltenham back in the late 1880s.
