In today's Mini Morbid, Alaina has chosen to take a brain trip to Scotland to dissect their history with witch trials. This episode will give a short background on the Scottish witch trials of the 1500s -1700s but mainly focus on one trial in particular from 1696 that revolved around a bold little girl, a stolen cup of milk and some poor souls who paid the ultimate price for it. It is Christmas day in 1929 and Charles Lawson is feeling some type of way. Unintentional poetry aside, the mystery of one man's actions that left his entire family brutally butchered, save for his eldest son who he intentionally sent away from the scene before the carnage, has fascinated and horrified true crime fans for decades. Adrianne Reynolds, Sarah Kolb and Cory Gregory were three troubled teenagers attending an alternative high school in East Moline, Illinois in 2005. They started off as bestfriends and ended up involved in a gruesome murder.  What they ended up doing to one of their own will make you question a lot.

Mary Vincent survived something so horrifying that most of us couldn't even conjure it up in our nightmares. Her attacker, Lawrence Singleton, could have never imagined that Mary would walk away from where he left her to die in a canyon as a symbol of strength and resilience in the face of insurmountable odds.
