These are the stories of evil men who were able to convince impressionable teenagers to join them on a wicked ride to the darkest recesses of the human condition. These monsters used their odd charisma as a means of attracting kids, usually down on their luck and in need of a big brother type of figure, to help them enact their vile fantasies. Listeners, be careful who you run with, as it is often said you are the company you keep is a reflection of who you want to be… or just maybe... who you already are.

Case #1: Candy Coated Cruelty - Dean Corll was known as The Candy Man of Houston Heights. He would often be outside of schools giving free candy to the kids out of his white van, but he didn't do it out of the kindness of his heart.. instead it was the beginning of his grooming technique. Corll would use teenagers to help him abduct children that he could take back to his house and put on his torture board. (Dean Corll, Houston, TX)

Case #2: The Freeway Killer - William Bonin used his charisma to convince a series of young men to aide him in his murderous journey of torture and pain.
